Can’t agree more. All of these plugins are excellent. WP Super Cache is becoming even more important for SEO purposes now that Google has announced that page load speeds will have a small influence on SERP ‘rankings’.

caching is done mostly to reduce server load. not for bandwith. bandwith is the cheapest thing nowadays.

Thanks for the list, especially WP Super Cache. I was aware of that but didn’t really understand its purpose. Now I do but I’m still wary of whether decreased bandwidth is worth the possible delays.

Yeah, setting up cache plugin is a bit tricky for beginners.

I’ve seen many messages in forums with people reporting errors due to caching plugins missconfiguration. I’ve also had clients who paid me to fix their blogs where the problems were caused by caching plugins.

The most common problems were related to a huge delay for pubhished posts and other changes on pages.
